Johnson tilt/trim identification

Hello. I picked up a replacement engine for my boat. I have a 76 Evinrude 85hp which is pretty much identical to this 76 Johnson 85hp. The only difference that I can see is the tilt/trim setup. My Evinrude has a single cylinder but this Johnson has 4 cylinders on the tilt/trim. I looked online if I could find much information about it but couldn't see to find much. Just wondering if anyone knows much about it. I have all the wiring but apperently it doesnt work. But the guy only tried playing with it the ight before I picked it up. So I could even be an easy fix. If anyone knows anything about it any help would be appreciated so I kind of know where to start yo try getting it to work. Thanks. 20201005_160532.jpg20201005_161221.jpg20201005_161209.jpg

The difference between an Evinrude model and a Johnson model is usually the color of the paint and decals / graphics.-----The Evinrude has 1 hydraulic cylinder and only performs a tilt function and does NOT trim !----The Johnson unit has 2 trim cylinders and 2 shock absorbers mounted still.-----Those shock absorbers are NOT needed with trim / tilt installed.-----Should have been removed when trim was added.-----Any pictures of all the wiring ?

I'll have to get a picture of the wiring. Its a bit of a mess at the moment. Anytime I looked at pictures online I could not find anything that looked like this setup. There is nothing wrong with my Evinrude orher than the lower unit is stuck in forward. So I can just swap the lower units but if I can get this trim to work I could swap the entire motor instead.

I took a couple pictures of some of the wiring. There is a lot of wiring there but I have the main wiring coming out of the trim/tilt. I will need to organize the wiring to see what is actually there.20201005_203502.jpg20201005_203520.jpg
