"Hello. I need to get a thermostat for a FD-20C. I have the following possible past numbers for this :-

378065
393659
434841
437414
508626
5005440

These all seem to be equivalent, so would it be OK to use any of these parts or should I try to find the correct one for my 1966 engine? If they're really all the same, why use different part numbers?

There's a 434841 going on eBay in the UK -- would that be OK for me?

434841 will work. The supersee

434841 will work. The superseeded number for that stat is 5005440
