Johnson Sea Horse 5.5

I was recently given a Johnson 5.5 Seahorse. I have no idea of the age, model number or the serial number. Where can I find this info on the motor.

Small plate on side of port transom bracket.

Quarter size core plug on powerhead.

If very old, imbedded/imprinted on powerhead on port size near joint attachment to long exhaust housing.

Post your findings and you will get an answer from somebody here. The very oldest was a CD-10 or CD-11, that would be a '54. The TD's and TN's were 5 hp.
