Johnson SC10S 1.5 HP (1968)

Hello all. I am brand new to this forum and thank you all in advance for any help you can pass my way.

I have a Johnson SC10S which I am sure is a 1968 vintage motor.
I will be rebuilding the carburetor, replacing points and condenser, and probably replacing the impeller.
I have not had much luck finding the correct part number and source for the carburetor rebuild kit.
All sources I find state kits for 1970 through 1990 but not for my 1968 model.
Would this 1970 - 1990 kit (Sierra Marine 18-7043) or equivelant work? Or, is the 1968 model carburetod really different from the 1970 carb?
I have found several other carb kit p/n's such as: 0382978, 0383067, and 0398532, but again, none of these appear to be specifically for the SC10S.

Can someone give me the p/n and source for a carb kit for my little motor?

Go ahead and order the 1970 kit.-------Your motor is a 1968 and that was the first year of production.

YEP, just get the kit and with latest plastic float.
