"I have a johnson regulator kit #173573. need to know how to install, it has 2 wire assume 1 is a ground and the other? maybe connects to the purple wire on terminal block?
One other thing any way to test this device?
By the way it will be going on a 1977 140.

it has red, yellow and black wires.
it is a square box aluminum all sealed up.
not a rectifier or a watercoled rectifier regulator"
