Johnson r6 69m water pump impeller

How often should this pump impeller be replaced? Are manuals still available for such an old motor, (1969)? Are impellers?

1969 is not " old " at all !-------Most OMC / BRP dealers will have that impeller in stock.-----Manuals are easy to get on this site as well.------Impeller on that should be replaced about every 5 years.
