Johnson powerhead

I am just wondering if a 1995

I am just wondering if a 1995 30 horse johnson powerhead would bolt directly into my 1983 30 horse johnson setup. Thanks

Also, I can't seem to find a listing for an 83, 30 horse Johnson (or Evinrude for that matter) - you sure about the year/hp?"

I'm Sorry i looked at the model number and found it to be a 1985 today. I had a manual that was from another 1983 johnson I had and it didnt say what horsepower so I assumed wrong. Any ways thank you for your help..Do you know what year Suzuki started making motors so in the future I can know if one will work. Thanks

Probably built by SUZUKI????????????. Get real and research the stuff.The 2 cylinder 30hp of 95 is basically the same as designed by OMC in 76. OMC thru and thru.

To my knowledge they only make/made the 4-strokes.
