" Need help identifying an old johnson motor. The motor has been painted over and almost all plates are missing.
It is a 2-cylinder tiller, long shaft (31"+/- to prop shaft), external idle and high speed jet adjustment. Motor cover is metal, 2 piece with separate cover to access spark plugs. part numbers on cover sections are 302686 & 302685. Part number on lower unit is 304268. Possible date stamp on crankcase of 8-1-68. "
