Problem.
When the ignition is switched on all aspects of the engine, and electrics work as they should, with 1 exception, the engine refuses to fire up. The engine despite the year of manufacture has a genuine 30 hours running time only. It is being suggested that the engine management system is at fault but this is refuted by the original suppliers. If a direct electric current supply from the battery to the fuel pump is applied, the engine will fire and run. Can anyone out there suggest where and what the problem may be?

Thanks racerone.
Can you help further. I only know of 2 fuses ( I think 35 amps) housed in the region of the EMS. are there more, if yes where?

I have 3 of these 2000 models for parts and a 2002 model as well.----------The 2000 service manual says there is a 15 amp fuse for the fuel pump , up above the intake runners.
