I have a 1947 Johnson HD-25 2.5 HP outboard motor that I just pulled from 48 years of storage and I took it apart and checked everything over. I put in new plug wires and the magneto was I'm good shape so there is plenty of spark however, when I start it it will run for 10 seconds and then flood and quit running. I took carb apart and cleaned it and can't see a problem with it other than it leaks a bit from the primer seal. Everything works except it floods. I've followed starting procedure just how it says but it still floods. Thank you for any and all help!
