Howdy all,
I have a 1999 90hp on a 2000 year haines signature with a 70ltr under floor fuel tank. I have an issue with the motor stopping after fishing in large swells for a while. The last time the motor stopped I couldn't get it to start again. I think that the water coming onto the transom is somehow getting in. No issues with the motor in calm days or in the lakes. I know there is a water getting into the boat due to the amount coming out when I run the bilge. When I change the fuel and water separater the motor runs again.
Any thoughts greatly appreciated.
