Hi I have a couple of issues.
First is the houses running from thermostat to heads keeping splitting been through 2 each side in 2 years.
Was thinking is there any better quality house to use I made one up myself but doesn't have the bend in it and builds up salt were it kinks slighty.

Second issue is when starting from cold it starts but dies the first few times then keeps running it runs smooth but every couple of minutes when at idle mostly it kissers. Have done new leads and plugs.

Any help would be great thanks

As for hoses, buy the original ones.
may be 'pricy', but for a reason.
Check the engine temp.
Thermostats working, engine at correct temp?
If ok, have a look, dismantle/clean/rebuild your carburetors.
This only if your compression test clears off with max 10% difference between cylinders.
 
Ok will get original hoses and look at carbs. Thermostats changed 18 months ago will check temp of heads think it fine. Compression around 120 on all cylinder.
