Johnson 9.9

What would be the most likely cause for my 9.9 Johnson (circa 1982) to not spark all of a sudden. Was running, then all of a sudden not
running now no spark to either plug.

Probably the power pack but you can go to cdi electronics for the test procedure.

Mgfab, please include in your post the model number and year of the motor.

Yes usually a power pack, have had the same thing happen on my own motors up at our resort in Ontario. Thats why I keep a couple 1967 Fishermans in the motor shed.......or an extra power pack around. CDI Electronics make an improved unit, I would go with that over an OEM.
