Lower end repair

For me lower end repairs are easy.-----What is the issue with this motor / lower unit ?----How did the ,motor run for you last season?

Ran ok, always has had idle issues. I think it's because of the govenor

There is no governor on this motor.------Start with a compression test on this simple ( to me ) motor.----Post the actual values you get.
