I have a 1976 Johnson 70HP at times motor runs fine but at times when I try to get boat up on plane motor will just slowly die,it will start right back up and repeat 3-4 times then it will get right up on plane like it should I have replaced fuel lines,plugs,looks like fuel goes into the middle carb then into top and bottom carbs,is it possible the float is sticking in the up position on the middle carb not allowing enough fuel in to carbs? and another question boa t has 2-6 1/2 gallon fuel tanks on those tanks I open the vents on the caps and hear pressure being released but if I unscrew the caps I also hear pressure being released should there be pressure in the tanks if the vent caps are unscrewed? I have running motor with the caps off the fuel tank and still have the motor dieing problem thanks for any information
