What is your experience with a Johnson 70HP TL from 1998? Is it a trustable outboard engine and what should be the price for it? Someone told me Johnson had a bad year in 1998, is that right?

"The 3 cylinder was / is a proven design. It has been basically the same since the early 70's. Having said that, all motors require care and maintenance and many "new" looking motors have been neglected."
