Hey Guys...I just started up a

Hey Guys...I just started up an old 1972 johnson 6r72d 6hp seahorse which hasn't been started for about 5 years(it was my fathers)..and it seems to smoke a fair bit although it runs OK..is this normal?..I replaced the spark plugs and mixed fuel at 50:1...any advice?

you can get synthetic oil and it wont smoke as bad.

you really need to clean the carbs......the premix fuel will have dried and blocked some of the passages........and new water pump.
