Johnson 55 misbehaving

Hello, i have a Johnson 55 from 1980 it usually starts fine but cuts out when i throttle up, it can take 20 mins slowly pushing the throttle forwards until she finally bursts into life ..then she runs like clockwork until i stop the engine and have to start the procedure all over again.. any ideas ??
Any help would be greatly appreciated

That model does not appear on the list !---Is it a 2 cylinder motor ? -Is it a 3 cylinder motor ?---Can you post pictures of it ?
 
I believe it is 2 cylinder, that is the model number stamped on the mount, but im in Sweden and maybe the Scandinavian model numbers differ.. cant get any photos now its dark out ...
