Johnson 4 HP 4W75A

This is not really a problem with the engine per say...

I recently purchased this engine not running and now have it running
pretty good. While reading the service manual I noticed that in order
to set the timing, you need a tool that sits on the crankshaft and indicates
where the points should be open and closed. I tried to find this tool and
it seems to be made of unobtainium. Is there any know source or work-
around for this?

Thanks.

The timing fixture is nothing but a " dummy flywheel "------This means you can use the flywheel you have to set the points.---Find the timing marks on your flywheel.---You just have to lift it off carefully during the procedure.
