johnson 30hp motor Running problems?

i have a johnson 30 hp outboard the motor has great compression motor fires up and it idles fine when the warm up leaver is ingauged but when i put it into gear it will run fine at slow speeds but when i get up to full throttle it will start to bog down but if you back off the throttle it will start to run again like maybe it straving for fuel..... i need ideas what i should try??? ideas!!

1. Check that the carburetor is not 'over-opening'.
With full throttle, in gear (engine not running) the carb should open 99.9% max. Adjust with the stopper on the rod from carb to vertical shaft.
2. Put the fuel hose straight onto the carb, by-passing the quick connector and fuel pump. Use the bulb as pump and do a test run.
If OK, you have a pump problem or an air-leak in the system.
