"I just bought this motor,and tried it on the boat,when cold it speed normally,and planes,but after some minutes,it will not increase low speed,and jump like a rabbit. Water is good out of both pie and exhaust,but white smoke or damp seem more than normal to me. Could temperature switsch cause this,maybe related with a bad thermostat? Checked fuel filter,and tried different settings on carburetter,but make little difference.Ignition plate seem to move smooth as well.The motor worked allright by last owner,but at least a year ago.Have somebody an idea? I would be very grateful."
