1985 Johnson will start and operate normally but occasionally after being run at moderate speeds and returned to idle, after a minute or two at idle, the engine quits and will not restart. There is no sign of ignition. I have replaced fuel, separator/filter, and fuel line connections at engine and tank. Replaced power pack installed new impeller. At the advice of a mechanic, when it happened last, I pushed the black/yellow pin out of the socket to disable the kill switch circuit. This did not correct the problem. I had to be towed in yesterday. This morning I tried to start and it started normally within a second of turning the ignition. It has never experienced the problem at any speed other than idle. Any thoughts?
