Hello, new to the forum. I made a recent boat purchase that has a Johnson 200TL76S on it Serial # J4591070. Boat ran great with the ears on in my driveway. I took it out to the lake for the weekend and the motor kept dying while in idle. However it would only die when getting it in gear from idle to forward. The rpms lower and when I put it in gear forward the engine dies out. When the engine is just in Idle warming up it runs fine. It only dies going from Idle to Forward. Any suggestions or tips would be appreciated before I start messing with it.
