Johnson 2006 Model J90 PXSDR

Engine started flooding the cylinders with oil. I bypassed the VRO and now mixing oil in the tank. Also have gone through 3 ignition switches in the last few months. The engine is idling fine for a short while and then dies. The engine has a "miss" at top end. I have been told this is a possible power pack problem. It may be that power is feeding back to the ignition switch which is burning up the switch. Any help would be appreciated.
