HARD TO START COLD. HAVE TO USE STARTING FLUID. AFTER STARTING THERE IS NO PROBLEM TO START UNTIL THE NEXT COLD START. ANY SUGESTIONS?

Test the electric primer valve.-----Does it click when you push in the key ?----Does fuel pulse out of one of the wee hoses when cranking it over ?

Ill give that try...I did replace the switch and heard the valve but seems to me not all the time...at 82 my hearing isnt that great {haha] Ill try that suggestion and let you know...THANKS

To me it sounds like there is an issue with the electric primer valve.----You have to check it out with a simple test.----Nobody can hear, see or touch your motor.

I give it a try,,,I assume the test would be to see if fuel is being discharged when activated. I kinda know nobody can hear, see or touch the motor but I do respect your input...Thanks

I totally agree with you...I asked for suggestions for my problem and received quite a few...all good but I have not had the time to put them to use. Looking to work on it soon,,,Thanks to all

Still hard to start cold...ball does not stay hard...new ball...would replacing the needle valves help hold pressure...?
