I recently picked up a late 70's early 80's Johnson 2 hp outboard. The motor sat for many years but started right up with some carb cleaner in the spark plug hole. I am in the process of disassembing the carb and cleaning it up. How do you initially set the slow and fast speed screws? The slow speed screw was really tight in the hole and took some gentle work to back it out. Also, I found out the hard way what the screw on top of the engine cover is for! Model # is 2R78R (1978?)
