"This '92 J10RENA won't get a 14' aluminum boat up on plane.
It has a new fuel pump, fuel lines, upgraded carb cover (plastic), carb kit, spark plugs (tried 4), cleaned the carb about 15x.
The motor won't start without pre-mix. The choke plate opens and closes ok. There are 3 holes in the front venturi chamber that I know of. Is there a hole in the bottom front or do I have a rough spot?
After putting the new fuel pump on it got full power. After cleaning it again it would't power up.
The fuel tank line works with the other motor. Tank vent open.
Compression is 100 & 102#. Motor shouldn't have only 25 hours on it.
7/16" spark jump on each plug.
