Doing the basic servicing on the lower, water pump oil etc.
Testing by turning the flywheel by hand.
After I put the lower back on, when in forward the prop turns in correct direction.
When in neutral prop turns in reverse.
Shift lever won't lock into the reverse position.
Oil is drained, I haven't refilled yet.
What would cause this, and will it likely operate normally when L/U is filled and engine running?
When I bought it seller let me run it in a tank. It worked normally then.
I did have a lot of trouble getting the prop pin out. Is it possible I damaged something?
