Hi, we are new to this forum
My son and I just got a Johnson 1976 70hp for free; it did not run for few years, we are trying to salvage it - late summer project
In neutral position, flywheel does not move (we know we are neutral since the propeller is free. We pushed on the piston by the spark plug holes: 3 of them seem ok, not seized (they moved a bit)
Is there any safety or else that would restrain the flywheel to turn? Maybe rusted? Engine was on the ground for couple years
Any suggestion?
thanks!
