Whats the spark plug gap? Also, this motor came with clean Autolite #295 spark plugs and trying to find out if these are the correct plugs? I cant locate much info on the internet for this motor. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks
 
Spark should be able to jump a gap of 1/4" in free air.-----------------The plug gap is 0.030" on Champion J4C-----------------Pull the flywheel and inspect for cracked coils as it is a very , very common problem.
