Well always look for the obvio
Well always look for the obvious first. Took the magneto off so I could look underneath it and found a plug wire had come out of the coil. It obviously has been loose for some time and finally disconnected itself form the coil while I was on the lake. When I lifted the magneto it popped out and just hung there.
Thanks for steering me away from tearing into a lot of things that were not the problem. I learned a great lesson here!!
