"While installing a carburetor

"While installing a carburetor kit in this Johnson 15 HP I dropped and lost a small screen that was installed in the carburetor body cover part number 334050. The spring is not offered separately. Anyone happen to have a parts carburetor around that I could get the spring from would you? I'll pay for the spring and shipping.
Thanks,
Bill"

Well the wife found it for me.

Well the wife found it for me. It had rolled underneath an old dresser I use for storage. Her light caught it just right so she could she it shine.

"Yea, she jumped right in there and found it. I was pretty discouraged by the time she got involved.

The "pain" is when you drop something it never goes where you think it should. How that spring made it all the way under the dresser is weird.

Thanks,

"A shop I was associated with

"A shop I was associated with for about 12 years had one permanent bench bolted up against the wall with a space of about 1/4" between the bench back panel and the concrete block wall.

Anything dropped within 20 feet of that bench would end up in that 1/4" almost impossible to get at area.

Thousands of parts in my remaining stock. Not able to list them all. Let me know what you need and I'll look it up for you. Visit my eBay store at:

Re: "A shop I was associated with

I want to get more hp from my 9.9 evinrude. I've heard that by changing the jets in the carb to those used in the 15 hp you can essentially change it to the 15 as the only difference in the two is the carboration. is this true? if so does anyone know the part numbers to order?
thaks Bob
