Johnson 15hp 1994 - J15RERE

Hi, I've a 1994 - 15hp Johnson that I'm wondering whether to breakup for parts. There was an oil seal failure in the lower case gearbox. So there's damage to the pinion gear and thrust bearing. I'm not bothering to repair it. I'm in Malaysia and there are very J15s of this model around. Actually I've only ever seen mine. Since there is no market here. I'm wondering what the market is like for used parts for this model in USA. Since the shipping costs to deliver parts to USA would be rather high, should I even bother trying to sell the parts on maybe Ebay?

There are no used units in this country that we can find. As I said earlier, I never saw anybody else but myself using this model on the water, so there are very few Johnson 15hp of this era in this country.

The motor/powerhead is fine. Fortunately the gearbox failed when the engine was idling.
