"I have a 1994 150 Johnson ocean runner (mod#j150exerv). the top cylinder o-ring(starbort side) blew out letting water into the cycliner, causing low compression in that cylinder. there was a little water residue present in the cylinder itself, also there seams to be some surface scarring on the piston head...not too bad just can feel the slight roughness and see the discoloring, also there appears to be a little scarring on the cylinder wall too.. looks more like normal wear...my question is can I possible get away with just replacing all the o-rings and leave that piston and cylinder wall alone, or would I be doing more damage to the motor."
