"Hello,I checked the connections and found the 2 prong connector on coming from the power pack on the uneven cylinder side was very dirty. After cleaning the terminals, the engine did fire up and ran for a short time. The only way that it would continue running was to continue to pump the fuel primer bulb.In the water, the same thing occurred and would Not allow full throttle, and would only idle.
I checked the fuel flow out of the tank and it flows well and is clean.Could you suggest anything else that I may try? Thanks for your Help!"

"If you did not dismantle, clean, and rebuild the carburetors during that rebuild job, do so now. Fouled craburetors would prevent functioning at the higher rpms.

And as Mike indicates.... having the engine continue to run when pumping the fuel primer bulb (acting as a manual fuel pump), that indicates a failing fuel pump."
