My Johnson 140hp motor will ra

My Johnson 140hp motor will raise but none of the switchs will make it go down. The relay is clicking in(I think this relay operates the up and the down cycle) but nothing happens.What is the next thing I need to check? thks for any help.

"Not sure if yours was one of these. Some of the "SuzukiRude's" only used a relay for up. Down was direct wired through the switch due to the lower current draw when going down. Apparently the Suzuki control could handle the current draw, but nobody bothered to test the OMC control. If this is the case, it blew the switch. The grand solution is to add a relay for the down function."
