1} Need help on reinst

"Hi,

1} Need help on reinstalling throttle, spring and bearing. bearing drops out when i slide it back together.

2} Issue when trying to start cold, have to use engine start all the time, and sometimes start in gear. is this okay.
3] Sometimes it will run okay, then when i stop to idle it dies completely and them i have to restart with engine start. then it runs like a real dog...try to accerate and its like it starving for fuel or maybe plugs?

any help would be much appriecated

Item 2 = No, that's not okay! If you're going to spray anything into the carburetor throats, use premixed fuel/oil in a spray bottle. Engine start has no lubricating qualities.

Item 3 - If you have proper compression and spark, that problem is usually due to fouled carburetors. Remove, clean, and rebuild them."

"Hi Joe,

1) I took apart the trottle lever as i needed to get the ignition out. Unbolted everything and the throttle lever arm and case came away. When I did this, the bearing and the spring flew out. The spring and bearing sit on the housing that is bolted to the boat. Also the choke lever is now just flapping around and not doing anything.
