I'm looking at buying a &#

I'm looking at buying a '96 Johnson 120. Recent history comes from seemingly reputable mechanic that has been serviceing engine for almost 3 yrs.

Only known problem is voltage regulator needs to be replaced. Owner is asking $2500.

I understand this model looper...my old motor was a cross flow. Will this improve fuel consumption noticably?
