"I got a johnson 105 from 1998

"I got a johnson 105 from 1998, it runs fine but when accelerating from 1500 rpm to full throttle it haults. Then as i start it back again and I prime with the fuel bulb,it will run fine. Can somebody help me with this problem as i have already changed the fuel bulb and the fuel filter but still have the same problem."

"Have someone pump the fuel primer bulb, acting as a manual fuel pump. If this cures the problem, replace or rebuild the fuel pump.

If no change, check to see if the timer base under the flywheel might be sticking."
