Thx for your responses w/regard to my '85 Johnson 120 - re: compression and temp/oil horn. It is incredible to have you as a resource to ask these questions to. It takes almost all of the guess work out of things. Boating is an expensive hobby, and if you need a mechanic to look at your motor every time something goes wrong, you better have a lot of $. Which I do not. Being able to turn a wrench and read a shop manual is key - but getting advice from someone who has 'been there' - is priceless...
