I started the 115HP 1993 Johnson today. This is the one with the high compression test (125-135#). the power head was rebuilt in 1999 and had the bad model with an 'A' rather than an 'E'.
You helped a great deal with the wiring. I thought I would give you a report.
She runs sweet in the garage on a hose. It only took about two cranks to get her going.
Because of the recent power head rebuild and the tight power head I doubled up on the oil for the first 18 gal. tank.
