I tested them as directed and found zero ohms between the end of the spark plug wire and each wire coming from the coil. Both the ground side and the lead that goes to the points.

Also I am showing zero ohms between the ground lead and the lead that goes to the points.
I don't know if that indicates that they are shorted or if it means they are good strong coils so if you would not mind please comment. I suppose it I am suppose to have continuity between the spark plug and both of the leads it would stand to reason that continuity between both of the leads would follow. I just want to make sure.

Another test I did was to clip the black lead to block/gound and go to the wire to on the condenser with the red lead. Here I start at about 10 ohms and as it charges from the batteries in the ohm meter it grows to show about 19.75 ohms on each one. After about 19.75 ohms is reached it goes flat to an open circuit until the lead is touched to ground to cause a discharge. Does that sound about right?

" Your coils have two sets of windings. One connected to the points and one set (many turns that lead to the gap on the plug). The set that goes to the plug, only goes to the plug . If there was another end the voltage would go there and would not jump the gap on the plug.Have them tested on a MERCATRONIC ,fool proof and no guess work involved. "
