J40PL4SR tilt stopped working

Had the boat out on the lake, all is good till end of day when tilt began to act up then quit all together. both remote and engine switches when activated create a clicking sound(up/down) but no movement. Any ideas? Thanks

Could be the motor itself.
Find relays, locate the blue and green wires attached (one to each relay).
Detach them using 10mm socket, and using the bare wires, touch the green one to ground, and the blue one to +12v.
The engine should go up.
If you then reverse the wires, the engine will go down.

If no movement...bad tilt motor.
