I have gear oil leaking from the water inlet . What do look fore ?

Are you sure it is gear oil ?-----Pressure test of the gearcase will find leaks if there are any.

I found other problems with the out board and trailer so I decided to sell and up grade to new boat , trailer , and outboard .thanks for the reply. Rich
