issue with spark plugs

Hi I'm Antoine from Malta, just bought a 20ft cuddy with a jhonson 175 fast strike V6 outboard. Model no: hj75gleom. need to change spark plugs. Current plugs being used are champion ql77jc4 but local agent gave me ql82yc which are a bit longer. Can anyone be of assistance in choosing the right plug cause I don't want to damage the motor. thats a common plug...should be easy to find...
