Im looking at buying a 1993 90

Im looking at buying a 1993 90HP Merc with controls for $1250. Compression is good and motor has less than 250 hours on it. Is this a fair price? Thanks in advance for any response.
 
If its in excellent condition

If its in excellent condition and with controls that seems like a fair price.

"I just replaced my 1999 Johnson 50 with a Merc 115 4 Stroke and sold the Johnson on ebay for $2551.00 plus $380 for shipping. I thought it would go for about $1500 so it surprised me when it climbed that high. It is in good condition and included controls, cables, wiring, gauges, manual, and two props.

I think $1250 for the 90hp doesn't sound too bad at all.
