Is there a filter in the fuel pump? 1980 470

Under the cannistor is the filter, cut the safety wire, loosen the screw, slide the hanger sideways, remove the cannistor

carquest has these filters . they are made by wix . they are the same exact ones as OEM...loosen the stud then remove the can ...

other part stores have poorly made chinese filters like auto zone and advanced auto and others ..poor filter media and not as many pleats..
