Sometimes Sierra "kits" try to cover too many models or model years so you may get a part that only "kinda works".

I do use Sierra parts but carb and waterpump kit's I'm a little fussy about. Since those two components are the leading cause of powerhead failures (when they develop a problem), unless an OEM kit is not available, I'll pay the extra 10-20% for the OEM parts.

thinks ill check with the dealer first then the online sites say they dont but ill still check its a 74 402
