Is my carb junk 1986 20 hp johnson

I took the carb off my outboar

I took the carb off my outboard and removed the bowl. when I turned the carb over a brass tube fell out. The other half is installed inside the main jet. I noticed the tube is pressed tightly against the main jet inside the air passage of the carb. Does this happen often? is my carb junk?

"w/out seeing it,I would say,..yes,..u should repl it....the "venturi tube' should never come out...altho,...it might could be fixed,..'IF--u have one to look at for exact tube placement."
