Is it possible to delay opening of Secondaries

Right now they seem to open ri

Right now they seem to open right around 3050 rpm. Someone menitoned to me you can delay when the secondaries open by changing a setting on the carb.

Is this possible and can anyone explain? Thanks

"No problem. There's a linkage rod that pulls the secondaries open. You can mess with it to make them come in later, or remove the darn thing completely (as many people do. THe boat will plane off the same or better on the primaries alone.)

Gotta try all kinda tricks with that 4 buck a gallon gas coming our way.
